Fire, Soul and Faith a documentary by Manoj Kumar Adhikari
An exclusive U.S. viewing of the documentary “Fire, Soul, and Faith” produced by Manoj Kumar Adhikari. The anthropological film explores the role that souls of the dead relatives/ancestors play in the Nepalese Hindu shamanistic and religious rituals. Tension/Trauma Release Exercises

Practice seven simple exercises that release tension in the muscles, which in turn relaxes the anxiety of our minds. Deep held tensions can be a result of difficult life circumstances, immediate or prolonged stressful situations, or traumatic life experiences. TRE can restore a sense of peace and calm to the body and mind.

The Real Cost of War – Dharma Talk & Meditation with Claude Anshin Thomas

Vietnam vet, Zen monk, Non-violence advocate and author of, “At Hell’s Gate: A Soldier’s Journey”, Claude Anshin Thomas will give a talk and lead a meditation at Ojas Yoga Center as part of his Bay Area visit. Event is free but donations are welcome. Blankets and cushions for sitting are abundant, but chairs are limited. You are welcome to bring your own portable chair/backjack. Wheelchair accessible.
